Final Report of the ICA Fishery Cooperative Organizations Fostering and Strengthening Project- 1988

Abstract

The ICA Fisheries Cooperative Organizations Fostering and Strengthening Project, (Training Project for Leaders of Fisheries Cooperatives), is a project which was made possible by the generous contribution of an Official Development Aid grant from the government of Japan commencing from the fiscal year of 1987. The role played by the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Associations of Japan in negotiations with the government of Japan for materializing this project has been gr'eat, and deserves special attention in the sense that a wide road which could contribute to the development and strengthening of fisheries cooperatives in the world has been opened.
