This program m e, headed by a w om en specialist, had been able to create an aw areness and conditions for enhancing w om en's participation in co-operatives.The program m e in particular achieved success in the areas of influencing co-operatives authorities to provide positive legal environment for women's participation in co-operative leadership and business. M any co-operative movements established women's committees at various levels and also incorporated representatives in their management committees.en_US
