Report of the ICA Study Mission on Perspective and Project Planning for Agricultural Cooperative Sector in Thailand

Abstract

The ICA Agricultural Sub-coiTimittec for South-East Asia at its 20th meeting held on 23rd July 1985 in Kuala Lumpur, I Malaysia, recommenced that the ICA Regional Office should assist the member movements to carry out Perspective and Project Planning for. the Agricultural Cooperative Sector in selected countries during the period 1985-86/1986-87. The Thailand member on the Sub-Committee, The Cooperative League of Thailand (CLT) , latef on sent a background position, paper to the ICA Regional Office and made a request for the study. This report, covers the results of the Mission to Thailand during the period 27th April to 10th May 1986 by Mr. J.M. Rana, Regional Development Officer and Mr. Sten H. Dahl, Cooperative Development Adviser, both of the ICA Regional Office for South East-Asia, in pursuance of the above recommendation.
