dc.description.abstract	The International Co-operative Alliance has now been in the Asia-Pacific Region for fifty years. This is a short period for an organisation to make any valuable contribution, however, the ICA-AP has not only been able to unite all Co-operative Movements in the Asia-Pacific Region, but also sustain itself, thanks to the candid and unflinching support provided by its Member-Organisations and the respective governments. The ICA stands for uniting, serving and representing co-operatives worldwide. The ICA stands for enriching the concept of ‘Cooperation’ through mutual help. The Regional Office has been al5le to erect tangible and strong relationship not only among cooperatives, but also between the governments and cooperatives.	en_US
