| Abstract: | The Open Forum was held on 2 December 1998 at the Hotel Victoria Plaza in Montevideo, Uruguay in conjunction with the meetings of the ICA Regional Assembly and Regional Conference for the Americas.The aim of the Open Forum was to share experiences and insights on how organizations are addressing the challenges of new information technology to reach members, markets and the general public. Themes addressed included how the Internet is being used for disseminating information, for cooperative education and research, and for engaging in electronic commerce. |
