On the co-operative front the NACF was already a firmly established entity. The priorities were set in accordance with the felt need of the time, viz; to attain financial strength, The result was a bit one sided development which became noticeable during the seventies and eighties. However, the strong financial and manpower position has helped NACF to remedy the situation and bring the agricultural cooperatives to the level described in the book I have attempted to write. It is a modest effort aimed at bringing to the readers the unique character of the Korean Cooperative Movement and the services it has been able to extend to its members.en_US
